Joseph G. Heelan 63, lifelong resident of Chicago's Southside, Canaryville neighborhood, passed away March 6, 2025. Beloved son of the late William and Kathleen Heelan (Walsh); loving father of Shannon Heelan; dearest brother of the late William "Wiley" Heelan, John (Antoinette) Heelan, and Dan (Rose) Heelan; fond uncle of John Jr., Danny (Heather), Darlene, Gina (Jack), and Katie and great-uncle of Steven, Kara, Aiden, Maverick, DeLaney, and Scarlet.
Joe enjoyed watching wrestling, playing video games, and occasional trips to the local casinos.
Visitation on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Cremation following in accordance with his wishes.
