Athens Christine Brannon,76, of Athens, passed away at her home after a long illness. She was born January 8, 1949, in Cleveland,Ohio, to the late Gerald Bowers and Gladys Thompson Bowers.Christine was a 1967 graduate of Shaker Heights High School, and earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati. She and her husband, Bob,were co-owners of Brannon Graphics, a graphic design studio which they founded in January 1986. Christine also served as the art director.Christine had a deep love for animals, particularly her cats and dogs. Shespent many years training her Irish setters, golden retrievers and poodles, and formed a special bond with her belovedstandard poodle, Charlie. An avid birdwatcher, Christine diligently fed her wild birds throughout all seasons. She tracked the many different species that visited her feeders, and named many of the individuals that came most frequently, especially the bossy ones.Her profound love for nature extended to the plants a
