Roger L. Johnson, 88, Athens, passed away at his residence Thursday,
March 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 28, 1937, in Nelsonville, he was the son of the
Late Carl Lee and Elma Grace Stephenson Johnson.
Roger is survived by his wife Ellen May Buckley Johnson, a daughter
Leah Jean (Steven) Edinger of Athens, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Robert
Lee Johnson, siblings Arvella Lehman, Eddie, Harold, Roy, Woodriff,
Lonus, and Donald Johnson.
Services will be Tuesday at 2:oo P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home.
The burial is in New Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation is from 12:00 to 2:00,
Prior to services, at the funeral home.
