Long Bottom – Elton Arthur Ritchie, Age 83, of Long Bottom, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Mary (Swindler) Ritchie; his siblings Eileen (Carl) Kuhn, Bill Ritchie, Joe Ritchie, Earl Ritchie, and a brother-in-law Forrest Buck Rhodes.  He is survived by his siblings Emma Rhodes and Jack Ritchie; children Beth (Randy) Pierce, Ken (Lisa) Ritchie, and Jayne (Brian) Collins; his grandchildren Colin (Ali) Pierce, Dakota (Niki) Collins, Baylee Collins/Frankie Elliott, Garrett Ritchie, Nolan (Marley) Pierce, and Clayton Ritchie; his great-grandchildren Ally and Zoey Collins, Emmie and Josie Pierce, Holden Elliott and Blake Pierce; along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Elton will be remembered as someone who was a hard-working farmer that loved German chocolate cake, homemade noodles, and circus peanuts.
