Carolyn Sue Green, 72, Athens, passed away June 27, 2024,
at her residence, after a brief illness.
Born April 2, 1952, in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence
and Freda Rupe Bowen. She retired from Southeast Ohio Mental Health Institution,
and was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter Sarah (Mike) Lash of Athens, and stepdaughter
Alethea (Jeff) Vancleave of Columbia, MO.; 5 grandchildren; siblings Rick Bowen,
Nancy Lawless, and Beverly Workman.; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Green,
brother Rodney Bowen, and nephew Travis Lawless.
